a heretofore-unrecorded East Van birthday rager classic by Jack Garton of Maria In The Shower. everyone at the party forms a tight vaginal canal of a gauntlet, then the birthday girl/boy(s) have to crawl/claw their way through it as everyone sings the canon.

it's technically a stomp-and-clap acapella birthday singalong, but i asked Jack to put some chords to it after a Tequila Mockingbird / Maria In The Shower house performance at the iconic Wall Street Manor.

anyway, i cannot even remember the last time i was at a birthday party where people actually sang the "normal" birthday song. in East Van at least, it has been easily supplanted by this catchy saloon number.
